Mark S. Schuster, Principal, is responsible for the overall investment strategy of Wingate and its affiliates—a group that has been involved in the successful acquisition, development, ownership and management of real estate for over 50 years.
Michael A. Cope, Chief Investment Officer, has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry and is responsible for the company’s acquisitions, financings/refinancings and for analyzing and structuring transactions.
Rod Teachey, Senior Vice President of Development & Chief Development Officer has over 24 years of experience in real estate development and consulting services, primarily in Atlanta, Georgia.
Senior Vice President of Construction
Mason Battle, Senior Vice President of Construction, has nearly 30 years of experience spanning all aspects of the construction management industry. In his capacity as part of Wingate’s Development and Acquisitions team, he holds principal responsibility for new construction and redevelopment for Bedford Pines in Atlanta, Georgia. He is also responsible for new construction value engineering for various other Wingate entities and special projects.
David W. Gottler, Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for financial reporting, review of annual and quarterly operating budgets and business plans, asset management, cash management and management information systems.
Martin Raffol, President & COO, has more than 30 years of professional business experience. He has an extensive background in financial forecasting and in managing operations with budgets ranging from $100,000 to more than $25 million.
Heather Calcagni, Vice President of Marketing & Revenue Management, oversees all marketing and communication strategies at Wingate. Her duties include branding the corporate entity as well as supporting the success of properties within the firm’s portfolio. Heather is an integral member of the residential team, including development, acquisitions, renovation, turnaround of underperforming assets, third party management, pricing strategies and lease ups.
Michael Martin, Executive Vice President of Wingate Management Companies, has over 30 years’ experience in the management of mixed income, assisted family, and senior housing in a variety of urban and suburban settings. At Wingate, he oversees all property operations throughout the entire Wingate portfolio.
Michael A. Siciliano, Vice President Acquisitions with Wingate, participates in all investment related company activities. His responsibilities include sourcing and structuring new investment opportunities, asset management, financings/refinancing, investor relations, and commercial tenant relations and leasing.
Peter A. Nowak, Corporate Controller, is responsible for all financial and tax reporting as well as financial compliance with HUD, state housing and finance agencies, and other lenders. He is also involved in mortgage financing and rental assistance payment contract renewals.
Mike Worrick, Vice President of Facilities, has nearly 35 years’ experience with maintenance, facilities, and construction management. He currently oversees Wingate’s facilities operation for 14,000+ apartments.
